courage…

“Courage doesn’ always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow.”

~Mary Anne Radmacher

…is something everyone, at one time or another, has to search hard and deep, to find within ourselves.

Whether we have to make a decision or carry through with a decision already made.

To try something different. Or to finish something when we’d rather be doing millions of other things at the moment.

To follow our dreams. Write that novel, learn something new, run a marathon, ask that boy/girl out, try out for that sport or play, go to college, insert other options here ________.

Or when that creepy crawly physical thing called fear bites you on the neck.

Like when you are headed to the airport and your faithful friend the GPS takes you to the middle of a field and you can SEE the airport, but you don’t know how to get there from that spot filled with weeds and tall bushes and dirt and scary things hiding in said weeds and tall bushes that could possibly jump out, slither around, and if not actually bite you then scare you to death anyway…and, well you get the picture. I am scaring myself again.

Yep, my GPS got me lost. And I am directionaly challenged to begin with. And I discovered I have a phobia of being lost.

I had made the mistake of looking up the airport’s address on the internet and plugging it in to the gadget. Once my heart slowed and was able to beat back the fear and I realized that all I had to do was backtrack to a point I was familiar with, then find my way to where I needed to be.

I discovered later (much later) that I was only two clicks away on the GPS from it automatically plugging in said airport. Or could have looked up one of the many car rental places in the middle of the airport and used that address.

So, the moral of this story is to have courage to attain your dreams. Or face your fears. Or make sure you have the right address in your GPS

…to my new home!

Thanks to Tina at Psyche Designs, I am ecstatic about my new website and blog!  She is wonderful, kind, funny, sweet, and so uber talented!  She was so patient as we tried various things to get it just as I envisioned it.  And she worked hard and put in extra hours to make it perfect for me.

If you ever think about having a new website or blog designed, don’t hesitate to contact her. She totally rocks!

Come back often as I plan to have Motivational days, author interviews, giveaways, talk about books and writing and life in general.

Would love to hear from you and, if you have a blog/website you want linked here, just let me know.
